Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to our FAQ; we are so happy to have you here and as a client.
We have tried to answer the most common questions.

Booking and Proposals

Understand how to start working with us and what to expect when requesting a proposal.

How do I request a proposal and what information should I provide?

Submit a clear brief including event type, dates, venue, guest count, objectives, and budget range. We’ll respond within 24–48 hours to schedule a discovery call.

What does a Momentous proposal include and how long is it valid?

It outlines scope, deliverables, itemized costs, timelines, payment terms, and assumptions. Proposals are usually valid for 30 days.

How are changes to scope handled after acceptance?

Requests must be in writing. We issue a change order detailing cost and timeline impacts, which must be approved before proceeding.

What are your deposit, payment, and invoicing terms?

Typically an upfront deposit, milestone payments, and a final settlement. Late payments may incur interest or service suspension.

Event Delivery and Operations

Learn how we manage logistics, safety, and on‑site execution to ensure seamless events.

How do you manage permits, venue approvals, and compliance?

We handle applications, liaise with authorities, and ensure all documentation and approvals are secured before the event.

What processes ensure safety and quality on event day?

We conduct risk assessments, technical rehearsals, equipment checks and maintain on‑site supervision with escalation protocols.

What contingency plans are in place for emergencies or force majeure?

We prepare backup strategies for weather, technical faults, or supplier issues and follow contract terms for rescheduling or fee adjustments.

Creative, IP and Data Management

Understand how we handle creative ownership, client materials, and personal data securely.

Who owns creative deliverables and how are usage rights granted?

Momentous retains IP unless otherwise agreed. Clients receive a limited license for agreed purposes upon full payment.

How do you handle client materials and third‑party IP clearance?

Clients must provide licensed content. If we procure third‑party assets, we secure proper rights and disclose terms for approval.

What are your policies for event photography and videography?

Unless restricted by contract, we may capture and use imagery for promotional purposes. Clients can specify limitations in advance.
